Three generations on the Gateway steps.
The Ulde family were among the early operators of motor launches off the Gateway of India: a small wooden boat, a hand-cranked engine, and a quiet patch of jetty. What began as a working livelihood became a name people remembered when they wanted to cross the harbour.
Today the business is led by Majidulla Ulde, who learnt the harbour from his father and grandfather. The fleet now includes speed boats, party ferries, partner yachts and sailing boats, but the way we work hasn't changed. One family, one phone, one promise: a safe ride and a fair price.

The first launch
The family begins ferrying passengers and goods off the Gateway of India in a single wooden motor launch.
A fleet, a name
Two more boats added. The Kasimi name becomes known among regulars crossing to Mandwa and Elephanta.
Majidulla takes over
The next generation steps up as modern speed boats, party ferries, and yacht partnerships are added.
Direct booking
Bookings now move over WhatsApp and the web, but every confirmation still goes through Majid bhai.
