The same routes and cruising options as our ferries, on a twin-hull catamaran with an air-conditioned cabin. A steadier, cooler ride, well suited to guests who'd rather skip the open-deck heat or want extra comfort on a longer charter.

Sailing Boats
A slower, quieter way on the water. For couples, small groups and sunset rides, not a fast point-to-point transfer. Open deck or a closed cabin, your choice.

We recommend sending your enquiry at least 7 days in advance, especially for private bookings, parties, weekends and larger groups. That gives us time to check availability across the fleet and arrange the best boat for what you need.
Share your preferred date, time, number of passengers, destination and type of booking. We'll confirm the boat, schedule and departure details at the Gateway of India jetty before the day of your trip.
Bigger group, or a longer charter?
Beyond our standard boats, we can arrange hourly or half-day/full-day charters. Mention it in your enquiry and we'll check pricing and availability.

Choosing a boat: common questions
What's the difference between the speed boats, ferries and catamaran?
Speed boats (S.B Juveria, S.B Zamia) are fastest and best for 2–12 guests. Ferries (Al Kasim, Hajra) seat 60–70 and suit large groups and parties. The AC Catamaran covers the same routes as the ferries with an air-conditioned cabin for extra comfort.
What's the difference between the open and closed sail boats?
The open sail boat has open-deck seating and full sea views, popular for sunset rides and proposals. The closed cabin sail boat has a sheltered, cushioned cabin below deck, better suited to hot or rainy days.
Can any boat go to both Alibaug/Mandwa and Elephanta?
Yes. Speed boats, ferries and the AC catamaran all run both routes, along with harbour cruising and private bookings.
Can I book just a pickup or drop, not a full cruise?
Yes. A simple one-way pickup or drop between the Gateway of India and Mandwa is available, you don't need to book a cruise package.
How far in advance should I book?
At least 7 days ahead, especially for private bookings, parties, weekends and larger groups. This gives us time to confirm the right boat from across the fleet.
What if the boat I want is already booked?
Through our extended network of trusted Mumbai boat operators, we can usually arrange an alternative, a larger ferry, a private yacht, another sailing boat or catamaran, subject to availability.
Do I need to pay in advance, and can I cancel?
Yes, a booking is confirmed once the advance is paid. The advance is non-refundable if you cancel, except where the Coast Guard or Port authority restricts sailing.
